fetchvid: fetchvid is a free web tool that prepares an MP4 video or M4A audio file from a single YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or X (Twitter) link that you have permission to save.
Supported links: YouTube videos and Shorts, Instagram posts and Reels, TikTok videos, and X (Twitter) posts with video.
Formats and quality: MP4 in the qualities the source offers, up to 1080p (Full HD), M4A audio, and live-stream recording to MP4.
How it works: Paste the link, choose a quality, and the browser download starts automatically when the file is ready.
Cost and access: Free, with no account and no app to install; it works in your browser.
Support and limits: A valid link does not guarantee that a video is accessible or downloadable. DRM-protected content is not supported; use only videos you have permission to download.
